2008 G37 Canadian Pricing

See this link for information regarding a Canadian price just reported to a buyer that is less than an '07. I can't believe this.

http://forums.freshalloy.com/showthread.php?t=171513

Forget the US/Canadian conversions. Just the fact that he is reporting a price that is below an '07 is wierd. If this is even half true Infiniti better bar the doors.....

How can they already have pricing and we don't. I thought we got the car before them. Hopefully, Nissan/Infiniti will release the pricing soon, it is getting really close to the release date.

I would say the US pricing release is imminent now.

I just called my dealer (Chris Reddick at Riverside Infiniti) and he said that he has no idea when prices will be released for the G37. It should be soon if the dealerships in Canada are already getting them. He said that he'll be calling me when he gets the prices.

Did he say anything about the Navigation package? Or is it being thrown into the hi-tech package for us canucks? I'm hoping it's the later as almost $4K seems a little steep for only 1 of the 2.

According to a proposed price gap spreadsheet they provided me a few months back, the $4K jump does indeed include both Tech and Navi.

Interesting, thanks for the info. This would push the G fully loaded to ~$55K for us Canadian. It's really pushing my price limits but we will see in time as I would love to have Nav this time around

BTW, in the light of our strong Canadian dollar, it may be advantageous for us Canucks that leaves close to a border town to make a trip south to get the car.

Question for you fellow Canadians who have ordered a G37S. Did you have to order the optional spoiler on top? It was packaged in such a way at my dealership that the spoiler was included in the sport package. This doesn't raise any flags for me though as in Canada it seems the Nav & Tech are also packaged together and premium is the lowest you can go for models. So they seem to invent their own rules that customers have to abide by.

Canadian pricing seems out earlier, so wonder if anyone heard about the invoice price? Not saying anyone can get it just yet, but if MSRP is lower than '07, I'm curious if the invoice is also lower? What are the chances that the initial MSRP will stay lower? I doubt the market supports it going higher with all this competition but you never know. Even if it does and you are patient enough to wait, dealers will eventually have to budge from MSRP.

I hope that they release the pricing for the US soon, I wonder why they are waiting so long.
