562 Meet

There was some talk over in the G Sightings thread about having a 562 meet for Long Beach, Carson, Cypress, Lakewood, Cerritos, Seal Beach, etc. Sounds like a cool idea to me, who's interested? Location? Once we get some interest and decide on a location we'll pick a date and time.

I encourage everyone to come out to the 1st Thursday monthly meet in Torrance at Ricky and Ronnie's, a few of us 562 guys go to that one every month.

Sounds like a good idea. I also agree with Candlestickpark, that everyone in SoCal should show up for the SoCal meet at Ricky and Ronnies.

Canlestickpark: I'm just the opposite of you. I'm in the bay and I miss LA

That's a pretty good location. Only 10 mintues from my house. I don't go to Walmart very often, but when I have gone over there in the evening the lot is pretty empty.

I'm usually free Mon-Thurs nights as well

We could also try the parking lot at the new Home Depot/Circuit City in Signal Hill right off the 405 on Atlantic Blvd. That lot always has a ton of vacant spaces.

Very good spot, usually vacant and close to the 405 freeway.

Any evening next week works for me. Since its already late in the week this week probably shouldn't pick a day early next week, just to make sure enough people see this thread so we can have a decent turn out.

How about next Thursday? That night works for everyone who has replied so far. I think the Signal Hill spot has more parking available, so we could try that as the location if everyone is cool with that. What do you guys think?

Good point Alan. There isn't any food in that complex. We could cruise somewhere and grab a bite. Any ideas?

Not familiar with that area..

Anyone else? I know there are tons of places in Cerritos like on South and Pioneer?

EDIT: Nevermind, the parking is bad and it's pretty far from Signal Hills... I think.

I live right up the street from there, I'm thinking about where we could grab a bite to eat......

EDIT: We could roll over to the Lakewood Mall, they have a bunch of choices for food. That area is 6 miles (11 mins) from where we are meeting up.
