GTR at the Cars & Coffee Meet, Irvine, CA! (^_^)
Got up at 5am to go to this meet in Irvine, California today by 6:30 am. A bunch of exotics, Aston Martins, Bentleys, Porshes, Ferraris, Lambo, Mercedes, Benzs, Vettes, DeLoreans, Panteras, Classics, Mustangs, Minis, Skylines, etc, and Daryl's New Nissan GTR! You'll find pix of his GTR from other meets in the GTR section as well.
They hold this meet here EVERY Saturday!

I spoke with the owner, Daryl, and he said it is street legal already in the US. Even though they shipped it from Japan in pieces and put it together. He said Nissan built the GTR as a "World Car" which means it is legal all over. He'll be getting his official plates in a few weeks.

I was there, too, but unfortunately weren't able to talk to him.
So according to what you've said above, it should be cheaper to get the GTR from Japan.... right? Since Nissan's gonna jack up the price here as much as $50k???
