IMO you shouldn't go there.
Front & rear bars should work together as pair.
You could end up with a very twitchy rear end.

Not true especially with an adjustable rear sway like Hotchkis. On my 05 Evo VIII, Hotchkis doesn't even offer a front sway bar. Again, no reason to stiffen the front bar on a car that understeers already.

to answer the original question...yes the hotchkis rear should work on the X. You can purchase just the rear directly from Hotchkis. You may have to ask nicely and beg, but they will do it.

if you go through with this, please do it soon! I am very eager to see if its worth just upgrading the rear sway.

I agree with you, on how to correct for push.
However, I don't agree with your logic for bar selection.

Front and rear bars have to work in concert.
They have to be within stiffness design parameters, so that they work together.

With your Evo, H.kis designed a rear (only) bar to work with the stiffness of the OE front bar.
They were designed to work together.

Not so with the G.
H.kis designed their own front AND rear bar to work together.
Since the H.kis front bar is considerably stiffer than the OE front bar,
it stands to reason that rear bar is designed to work with that stiffness & not the softer OE front bar.
There is a reason that they don't split the package & sell the rear bar separately for the G.

IMO, the very best you can hope for is that the softest setting for the rear H.kis is not too stiff for the OE front.

There are a few other threads here that get into the stiffness specs and other potential options.
I'd check into them before you risk spending money on something that may not work.

good luck with it

Keep in mind that Hotchkis also designed their sway bars for the RWD car which has considerably less understeer. Hotchkis will sell the rear separately. Although at full retail, it is not much more to get the full package online.

OK, guys, buy something for rear and post RESULTS!

Some time ago I put GT Spec front strut bar to my car and I really feel the changes - the car is much more solid and it's easier now to pass tricky corners at higher speeds
And I think to upgrade something in the rear (maybe stiffer sway bar or some GT Spec rear brace), is it a good idea?

All the GTSpec rear pieces should fit the X no problem.
I have them on my RWD & was amazed at the difference they make.

Once i questioned GTSpec what braces they do have for my g35x '07 and that is what they answered (i'm sure they wouldn't mind sharing this info):

Vladimir,

1347 and 1350 will fit the AWD model along with the 1320. The 1087 should fit as well as it only has problem with the 4 wheel steering model on the older G35. 1349 is not confirm to fit with the Borla cat back because we have never tried it with that cat back. It is confirm to fit with the MXP cat back but we don’t know the difference or similarity of the MXP to the Borla.

Thank you.

GTSPEC

Want to mininize the bodyroll and based on the site opinions, I still can't decide whether a strut bar will make a difference or not in improving handling. Opinion is pretty uniform in that stiffer sways will improve handling but I'm not sure if I just want to upgrade the rear alone on the X. Drop is out of question as the horrible potholey roads I routinely drive on will not allow it.

In my experience, strut bars help tighten steering on cars that have a lot of flex. I don't think that the G35 is terribly flexy. Strut bars do not flatten cornering. Sway bars will help that.

I went with a RWD rear sway bar. Cheap improvement.
