FUCA Replacement - quick questions

My front upper control arm snapped in half last week after a minor collision with a truck on 7th ave...seems to be a quick and easy job replacement but I have a few quick questions before tackling this later in the week:

- What are the torque specs for the bolts ? My research has yielded everything from 45-75lbs thus far, and i can't seem to find a service manual online

- Is it ok to load the suspension under the lower control arm from just the side I'm working on (front passenger), or should I lift the car from all sides?

- any recommendations for an aftermarket FUCA? suspension is stock. raybestos is at a good price point and includes an additional ball joint but i don't mind splurging if it means i can avoid being in this situation a year from now

Quick update...ended up ordering the Raybestos control arm which the Rockauto website says fits (http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...parttype,10401)

...however this control arm is ~3in longer than the OEM UCA, don't buy it...it wont fit. I'm pretty sure the only option apart from moog adjustables is the OEM one, which is unfortunately nearly 5x the price of the Raybestos
