I'm waiting for the replica. I can't justify spending more than $300 on a strut bar.

I just wanted to tease you guys with the box =P

Here is a pic of the actual bar. Bar made out of alu and tower brackets made out of steel. More pics/details will be posted soon

Aluminum? Is that just for show? Why choose such a weak metal? I would've thought stainless steel alloy would've been cost-effective.

that replica bar looks almost 15mm taller than my ARC over the engine cover
center even at the lowest setting. the ARC touches the hood liner
when hood is closed, that bar looks like it will push up the hood quite
a bit.

here's the ARC... the shot angle is a little different but i have it set
at the lowest and have maybe 3-4mm clearance with the engine
cover over the center part. im using foams to keep it off the
cover to prevent scratches on the cover.

here are shots of the clearance

it clears the liner...we put a drop of lotion on the bar, closed the hood, and inspected the liner for absorption of the lotion

Awsome!

It's like getting prescription drugs. Why buy name brand when generic brands will do just the same.
