The rays are cool, but 19s are lame. Odd number tires are SO much more expensive than even numbers. Even 20s are cheaper than 19s.

The 19" Rays are nice but the the 18s were one of the nicest looking OEMs IMHO. In the same ballpark as Acura Type S, Acura TS, Lexus IS originals. Here is my old LR G on Stock 18s. Since the spokes run to the outside, they look like 19s. 2nd pick are Volk GT-7s 19". $600 vs. $3.5k. Obvious choice for someone on a budget.

 

Hey, you had the chrome 18s too! Nice. I always like seeing someone else with them. Most of them are the brushed finish. Every time I see someone's G and they claim to have every option, but then have the brushed sport rims, I show them mine and I'm like "no, I have every option". Haha

 

Every time some mentions the 19" stock G wheels, they refer to them as Rays. Yes they are, but not really. No one says how good they look, just that they are Rays. It's really a preference too dual 5 spoke (10) vs. 7 spoke. If I wanted the 10 spoke look cheap, I'd go PIAA Super Rossa.

 

I dunno, I like the stock rays, I just hate that they're 19s. I do like my stock 18s just as much tho (if not better). The only thing I'd trade my stockers for would be some vossen cv7 concaves tho. They kinda look just like the stock 18s, just a little more slick.
