I saw them in black in person today, they look sick I just wish they weren't in such poor condition it would take hours to sand it enough to paint lol

they're all mine!!!!! Thanks Stan I'll send u pics when I have them all cleaned up this summer

powder coating would probably be the best route to go if you didn't want to spend the time refinishing them.

You have the regular version of the J5's. You can tell by the universal 5 lug bolt pattern.Originally Posted by PR-G35Driver

thats what I was thinking. I already got in touch with my powdercoater so he knows I'm bringing them to his shop next weekOriginally Posted by shipsaeki

Even if he doesn't powder coat them, take it to him and have him sand blast it. Then you would save a lot of time and paint it whatever color you wanted. It's a little cheaper than the PC route.

I'm having them sandblasted this week to clean them up for paint/powderocating

dropped them off last night at the sandblaster's shop. Picking them up tomorrow afternoon. Will have them painted by weekend and mounted on the car by Saturday or sunday. It only cost me $100 to have all 4 sandblasted front and back.
I had a tire plug kit at home so I plugged that hole that was in the rear tire with the nail in it. It wasn't difficult at all. Its a temporary solution until I order the new rubber I want for the summer BF Goodrich KDW2 tires. Looking at 255/35x19 in front and 295/35x19 in rear. I have a full set of 4 25mm hubcentric spacers for them that will effectively make them +1mm offset front and rear

I'll post pics of the wheels after painting. Not posting pics of my car until all my work is done for this summer and it comes back from getting buffed and waxed. Probably looking at mid June for a whole picture of the car in all its glory Originally Posted by G35SedanGrn
