That's pretty irresponsible on the seller's part. Sucks that you had to arrange everything as far as renting a vehicle, taking time off work, and driving out just to find out that he's no longer selling his wheels. Maybe he found someone that was willing to pay couple of hundred more than what his original asking price was. Either way, that's a d1ck move on his part. Should be reflected in his itrader, so other people can be aware of this incident.

Exactly my point... its not that i didnt get the wheels its that we had a set deal and i had to arrange around that because he wouldnt even put the wheels in his car i had to go all the way to his house...

But thats what i thought also that he probably sold to someone else that wanted to spend more even tho we made a deal....

If this happened to me, I'd be pretty furious. However in the end, verbal agreement is not binding in circumstances like these. This is the risk we take when we deal through the forums, craigslist, etc. All you can do is leave him a negative itrader and just move on with your life.

I am a firm believer in 'what goes around, comes around.'

lol didnt see this guys until now. We made the deal Friday night and while i was at work the next morning, i had second thoughts about selling the wheels. I texted him Saturday afternoon and I apologized two times about not being able to sell the wheels. And no he did not drive out, I gave him fair warning. J2S2M thanks for calling me a d1ck and listening to one side of the story.
