Cardboard discs on the face and back of the wheel, taped. Wrap entire thing with shrink wrap. Do each wheel/tire separately. UPS/FedEx is most common. I have used USPS as well. Typically it will cost 30-50 dollars each, depending on distance. You may try ShipNex too, they are usually a bit cheaper. Last set of rims tires I shipped from DC to Miami, cost me about 200.
