OEM steering wheel

Have a OEM steering wheel for sell. The rubber texture is not to bad but if you seen what i did with my last steering wheel you could do the same to this. Just have to sand off the texture. Local buyers only willing to drive in the LA area to meet up for delivery

Willing to part out the rubber trim? My hometown is Torrance, so I can have someone pick it up!

what do you mean? I want to get rid of the whole wheel. And if you want to pick it up, where in Torrance?

  • I am not interested in the steering wheel, just the trim that goes around the buttons. If you're willing to sell that piece separately, please let me know.
  • I can have someone pick it up on my behalf in Torrance. Perhaps in a well-known location like Del Amo Shopping Center.

I am looking at my extra steering wheel and the only tool required to take off the trim piece is a phillips head screwdriver. If you're asking $85 for just the trim piece, I'll pass.

However, if anyone else is looking for the entire steering wheel, $85 is a good price. Good luck with your sale!

Can you do us a favor?
I am pretty sure that many people here are highly interested in taking out the button bezel and paint it but we don't know how to take them out. If you can take pictures and give us instruction how to take the button bezel out, your work is highly appreciated. No one has ever posted an instruction on taking the bezel out, this could be your First Instruction in the World. LOL

I didn't have the tools to take it out. I taped everything off and sanded that way and gave it to my paint guy. After that he took everything off and painted. He showed me when he put it back together saying you should have token if off. But i told him I didn't have that tool.

What kind of special tool needed to take it off? I assume there are only flat/phillip screws and couple of hex screws.

You need a temper resistant T-30 Torx driver (this is required to remove the steering wheel) + T-30 Torx driver + regular philips + also smaller philips driver to get to the lil tiny screws in the inner part of the wheel. You basically need to take the steering wheel completely apart to remove the bezel. It's not that hard to do though. It's pretty self-explanatory once you start taking it apart. Just make sure you remember which screw goes back where when you put the wheel back together. I hope this helps.

^ Did you put on the other wheel yet? The reason i have another wheel is because i need some parts off of it and i had to buy the whole steering column. Kind of sucks for that part

Nope. I need to go to sears to purchase some tamper resistant T-30 screw driver. Been too lazy and have had absolutely no time.

Hopefully can find some time this week.
