Here's a writeup from a 2010+, same exact procedure except a different wiring schematic. If you're comfortable with this thread, you can take this on. It's truly not that hard (I converted my 08 to 2010, and it's almost the same procedure.)

The only thing you would need would be the pigtails from a 2007-2009 car with nav, and those are pretty easy to source at this point. (plus a nav antenna)
