^Looks great man, the leather should soften up over time but I think it still looks great as it is and it should look even better with your new shift ****

Did you mount the boot properly? there are 3 holes underneath just want to make sure you did it correctly because your boot's stitching should be straight up and down with the center of the car, it should be vertical and your stitching looks like its diagonal if you look at the boot when its installed from above. If the mounting holes aren't right you can still just move the boot in the right spot then screw it down it'll still work just fine. Let me know man!

Stock rubber mats!? I wish! Those are Goodyear mats, the infiniti ones are in my wish list cart on everythingg35 haha.

Remember Janik, my car goes into hibernation too, just not till snow comes down.

By the way locksmith, I think you need to cut a little piece of the spandex or whatever it is for where the shifter goes into manumatic. There is a little bit of resistance on the down shifts, I didn't want to remove the boot again so I pulled the piece through and gave it a snip it's a little better but I have to pull the boot off and adjust just right. I notice it because I drive in only manumatic.

Other than that (which is a very easy fix) the boot is awesome, I'll get some more photo in a week or so when the leather has settled into it's new home! You should start making these for other cars man, such a nice mod. Put them on ebay too!

Hey locksmith, quick question. Can you do "baseball" style stitching like this?

I quit looking. I'm using my Dad's old work van, chevy astro! haha It's free so now I can put the money into modding the G over the winter!

So you bought the QX4? How's that treatin' ya? I still want to get one for NEXT winter because I doubt the astro will make it. If it does though WOW.

Let me look into that for ya, I have a machine that does something similiar for stitching. That looks almost like its hand stitched, I'll keep you informed after I get home tonight
