Good to hear, you put the OEM back on?

I need a new one because I have wood trim. It just wouldn't look right. Nice sporty boot with classy wood trim???

The rest of the trim is just on the door pulls so I don't think it really matters. If it looks weird though I'll just paint them.

Locksmith, can you snap me some photos of the Emerald green thread you picked up? I am going to buy the Razo shifter and wouldn't mind installing my **** and boot at the same time!

I think the shift boot tucking under the shift plate looks a bit odd. If you guys really wanna do some real labor you can get a 6mt shift boot retainer to fit inside your auto G.

I think THAT looks odd lol, the ring around the boot that you're installing from the 6mt is stitcking up higher than the stock console and it doesn't even fit flush like the stock one should either way I make boots that fit BOTH models lol can't go wrong either way

G Sedan, i think your interior is sick, but personally i am not a fan of the non-flush saucer for the auto. Maybe when you paint it piano black to match it will look better. Right now it looks like you have a bowl or a saucer on your console.
No offense man, you still have the tighest interior a G has ever seen.

G sedan post a better picture of that. I remember in the MOMO shifter thread there was a guy that used a ring from a Z and it looks soooo good. I'll find a picture.

Locksmith, you have a PM.

That ring actually looks decent in some pix, I just don't like how it doesn't sit flush with the console but it still looks pretty pimp!

yeah that guy made a DIy and that's the one I followed.

either way works, I just like the more "sunken" in look right that the "tucked" look. Either way will work with your boot, just providing an alternative for those auto peeps that wants to install a boot.

I agree the bracket sitting on top s is not the best way to do it, but there is no way around it, it has to sit on it some how or it will fall through LOL

Agreed! Both options are great just depends on what your personal preference is. I make shift boots for both kinds

BTW that interior is SICK lol love the diamond stitching.
