Feather River Run - June 26 2010 - 2nd Annual - ZONC Event
well i googled mapped the meet up spit. It's just under an hour from my place. i'm thinkin, all you guys from the bay wanna make the pit stop here in fairfield to meet up collectively. i dont know if i'm the only one from this area goin, but if there are others then read this:
i propose meetin up at the back of Wal Mart parking lot (300 Chadbourne Road, Fairfield, CA 9453) around 8am to roll out to the meet at 830am.
if you're coming off 80E just take the CA-12 E exit toward Rio Vista/Suisun City. Then keep right at the fork, follow signs for Fairfield Auto Mall/Chadbourne Rd. Turn right at Chadbourne Rd. Turn left at the first light. Wal Mart's lot will be right on your left.

If you are refering to the flyer and the RSVP for June 19 and have signed up, the answer is NO. This was intended for the ZONC members that receive in the postal mail the news letter and have do not subscribe to any forums. Hope this helps.
Bay Area Caravan
Posted form 370Z forum.
Let's try to set up a caravan from the Bay to Sac as it'll be a lonely drive up there w/o one. List where you are (North/East/South) so that we can make possible meet up places for the # of people.
1.) mjch3n - east bay (alameda)
2.)
3.)
4.)
5.)
6.)
7.)
8.)
9.)
10.)
Feel free to suggest meet-up places. I'll figure out time as the date approaches a little more and we have more people. If all works out, it'll be South Bay meets up first, drives up, meets with East Bay Caravan and then we meet up with North Bay and head up to Sac super deep. Lmk, thanks guys.

This just in from an email I received from a participant.
"The trip along the Feather River should be pretty spectacular as the river is flowing over 6,300cfs into Oroville Lake today. If we get some hot weather the flow could increase".
Last year we were lucky that we out ran the thunder showers. This year since the date was pushed farther into June by three weeks so thunder showers should not be of concern. The level of the river? Well let's just say if you are not careful you could be skimming the surface of the river, like a flat stone being skipped….j/k.

Fairfield here. I'm still tentative b/c of work.
Walmart lot going straight ahead (near their oil change services) then off to right has less customer cars. Just a thought.
We used to meet across from Infiniti dealership or Starbucks off of Business Center Drive in Green Valley for caravan staging areas, but Walmart is a good spot too and fine with me.
