DYNO DAY @ CHURCH'S Sept 25th

Results in post#218 https://g35driver.com/forums/socal-m...t-25th-15.html

MAJOR UPDATE: post # 145 https://g35driver.com/forums/6126097-post145.html

Additional Raffle Info Update - post #162: https://g35driver.com/forums/6128187-post162.html

When: Sunday, September 25, 2011
Time: 8:00am till last car dynos
Where: Church Automotive Testing; 300 Quay Ave. Wilmington, CA 90744
http://home.earthlink.net/~spchurch/id5.html

In the spirit of G35 Festivities during the last two weekends in September (in counjunction with Sedan Showcase Meet 9/25 and 1/4 Mile Mini-Shootout Track Day 9/17) - we are holding another Dyno Day at Church Automotive Testing.

The last big dyno day was a big hit! Lots of Gs, free food, raffles, cheap dyno and discounted purchases... This one is no different!

Owner Shawn Church has always been a great supporter of the G35 community (as a G owner himself, he likes the platform and the people)... he has offered to host another day of generously priced dynos, giveaways and discounts.

Here's how it will work:

Three pulls for $30 guaranteed for all *pre-paid. $40 for payment at event.

>>>If the event has 20 or more participants, all G35 attendees will get discounted price of $30 (even if not pre-paid) - however, if there are less than 20 people, the fee will be $40 (if not pre-paid). Normal pricing is $75 for three pulls (pretty much standard at all dyno shops)... so even at $40, its a huge savings!

Each paid dyno will receive an entry to raffle drawing for awesome prizes (last event had free Up-Rev Osiris Tune [$500 value!], among many other great prizes). Pre-paid (discounted to $30) will receive an additional raffle entry!

Also, your dyno fee entitles you to 10% off all products/services! Church's is the premiere Up-Rev dealer in So Cal, if you've ever considered getting Osiris tune, this is a great opportunity for a killer deal! Even if you already have Osiris tune, this is a good time to get Cipher cable at a great price... Or use the 10% discount off future dynos or tune - its a very good bargain for a $30 (or $40) dyno fee.

Food and refreshments will also be provided courtesy of Church Auto.

The crew at Church's are fellow enthusiasts like us - they are great at what they do and take very good care of the cars they handle (lowered cars, after-market wheels, etc all treated with care).

*For Pre-pay guaranteed $30 and scheduled time slot of your choice, PM me for payment info). *** DEADLINE FOR PREPAY IS 3:00PM FRIDAY 9/23/11

Walk-ins $40 fee will be first come first serve, based on next time slot available after pre-paid. See me at the event to get on list and receive your raffle ticket (if you pre-pay, you will already be on list).

>>> If you have bolt-on wheel spacers, remove them prior to dyno - this will help expedite the process and prevent unnecessary delays (shop will remove bol-on spacers for you for $20 - it's better to remove them prior)... If you have wheel locks, REMEMBER TO BRING THE KEY(S)

Dyno Days are mini-meets in themselves... come hang out with fellow G35Driver members and check out some cool cars

Sign up in this thread is not mandatory - however, it is a good gauge of interest... so if you plan to participate, copy/past the list in the next post and list your name.

might as well dyno prior to get a decent baseline... you'll never (rarely) find three pulls for $30.

Wish I could go. My G has been sitting since January and I will be overseas around that time.

I have ART pipes, Stillen headers, JWT cams, flywheel and clutch waiting to be installed. Hopefully I could hit 13's N/A at Cali Speedway with those upgrades with re-tune along with some good number's on Church's dyno.

this sounds like fun,

my car is stock except for an AEM CAI, might be interesting to see what my baseline is

also, church uses dynapaks right? they bolt directly to the hub (no rim/tire) so the hp/tq numbers read a little higher... someone correct me if i'm wrong
