We're contemplating staying for this but I've got a couple of questions. I assume we would just need to remove the rear spacers correct? I'm running 5mm out back do those need to come off as well? If so, I'll bring a set of open-ended lugs to use when I put the wheels on after removing them so I don't have to swap out the lug bolts. That would be too much of a PITA.

Let me talk to jaythree and if he's good I'll sign up and send payment. I'd like the earliest time available looks like 9:30 or 10 are still open, can you confirm that Mike?

Ninja edit eh? E-mail notifications FTW

Yeah it seems my trip gets busier by the minute. I'm picking up a set of the new design V2 ARTs from Tony on the 23rd to test fit on my 5AT for him to make sure the new design clears the tranny pan, having them installed at CarZone Auto (thanks Peter)that afternoon, doing the meet on Sat., doing a photoshoot with Marcus Sat. night, and had planned to head back here Sun. AM

I'm coming out with at least one more member and his car and possibly 2. I know Joe needs to leave early Sunday but I might just stay so I can come to dyno day and then head back that afternoon. Not sure yet on that, but this event looks like a blast so it would be hard to just leave and not attend.

My reading comprehension isn't the best in the morning
Same here, I love dyno days or any performance oriented event for that matter. I would attend this but I'm leaving on the 24th

yes, bolt on spacers need to be removed prior to hooking up to machine... you can do it prior, or the shop will do it for $20... as of now 9:30 and 10:00 are available... hope you can make it ~

Why would you need to get a chiper cable? if it is already gonna be tuned. But when is the last slot available?

it's "Cipher"... more capabilities than just a tuning tool... monitor/data-log various ECU/BCM/ABS parameters, read codes, as well as flash (if you have the tuner version)... you can read about it on RevUps site: http://www.uprev.com/ (and in the tech section on this forum and my350Z.com) to familiarize yourself with the product... or come to the event and learn about it.

As of now the last time slot (reserved) is 1:00... its unknown at this time how late the event will go - since there will be several non-prepaid that will dyno... I suspect at least till 4:00 (possibly later depending on how many show up).

And to answer your PM here (for others that may want to know as well)... this is a dyno only event - no tuning (reflash)... you can purchase an UpRev/Osiris license for tune at future date (tuning takes much longer than the 30 min per car that we are allotting for dyno).

As you found out, Cipher is not for map switching - you need cruise control for that - however, I think UpRev "may" have developed something for the non cc Z's... I dont think there are any Gs without CC...

There is a bunch of good info here: http://my350z.com/forum/tuning-448/

Let's keep this thread on topic for dyno day sign-up. Thanks
