what mileage would you recommend replacing the stock ones?

 

There isn't a set rule for when stock hoses should be, or need to be, replaced at. Most commonly, the coolant hose kit is upgraded if a performance radiator is installed, or someone wishes to add some touches or blue or red to their engine bay. If one our your stock hoses is torn, or noticeably worn and possibly leaking, I would highly recommend a kit such as this. I have full confidence that the Venair hoses are stronger and more durable than the stock hoses, but the stock hoses typically last quite a long time as-is.
