How do these shift boots stay up? I used to have an acura CL which the shift boot actually clipped onto the shift ****.

I have an 03 6mt and am planning on the voodoo shift **** but am wondering how these boots stay up, I don't like seeing the shifter shaft in between the **** and the boot.

The shift boots I've made all seem to still stand up as I use a good interfacing under the material to help keep it a bit more stiff, if you don't like the gap between the boot and the **** they do sell finishers I believe at zeetoys.com
