Getting ready to order this, couple of questions:

-Whats the difference between the option for $25 more and the standard?

-And are these leds clear and light up amber? Reason why I asked is for my 03 G35 sedan, I replaced the amber turn signal lens with a clear projector lens so when it is not signaling, it looks clear still.

-For my purcashe, just need to order a set of led turn signals, ONE set of resistor and thats it for it to work correctly?

The standard shipping anywhere in the U.S. is $5.00. You can pay more to get the package sooner.

Yes, the leds are clear and light up amber.

Yes, that is all you should need.

Im on your website getting ready to make the purchase but what is the difference between the 7440 11W led which is $25 more versus the 7440 27-5050 for $39.99 in amber for the turn signal?

The new 11W Hi-power bulbs are MUCH brighter. The standard SMD is about as bright as stock. Both will give you the instant on/off modern look of LEDs.

The resistors for the LED turn signals...I know they give off heat. But do they give off heat constantly, or only when the turn signal is operational?

I'm interested in a set, but I also don't want to risk having a resistor trying to melt its way through my trunk liner.

Correct- they only give off heat when providing resistance, so only when the turn signals are on. I'd still be aware of where they are, and not have them touching any interior material.

wait, so for the front amber blinker led (11W) , does it act like the double (?) version, like the ones in the reflectors? (stay on all the time and blinks when blinker is on)
or does it ace like the ones in projectors? (stays off and blinks only when its on).

I need the first one like in reflectors, but the light needs to stay on white and blink oj.
i didnt see one on your website.

Very good question! We have the 11W High power (stage 2) available for both single filament and dual filament applications. The switchbacks, where the bulb runs white but blinks amber is only available for vehicles that support dual filament bulbs and we do not currently offer a 11w High power for the switchbacks. However we do have a stage 2 with 120 smds on the bulb itself. If you have any further questions, please let me know.

I assume it's best to call DD directly regarding tech questions. Is that correct?

Anyone converted stock highbeams and/or fog lights (2005 Coupe) to DD HID conversion kits? If so, what's your feedback?
