What is the Snell rating?

 

would this pass for drag strips and such?

 

I believe it is M2005. I purchased it before 2010 so it wouldn't have been rated M2010 or SA/K2010.

 

Organizations such as Speed Ventures require a helmet with a SNELL rating of M2000 or SA2000 or more current. Obviously, different organizations and/or facilities will have specific requirements. Best to check before purchasing safety gear.
