Sometimes you end up with a situation where the 2008 was sold early in the season so the state registers it as a 2007 when in actually it's a 2008 chassis.
I have a 2011 Ford Focus that is actually the 2012 redesigned chassis, but I bought it the first week of November 2011 so it says 2011 on the title. I just have to remember to buy parts for a 2012 since it was a ground-up redesign of the entire vehicle.
