Just an FYI to all of the members that IB will be rolling back the Marketplace to it's original format on Monday, December 6th. This has never been done before so obviously there are some intangibles and things may not go smoothly or as intended.

With the rollback, threads currently in the Marketplace shouldn't be affected, however there are no promises either. If you have any questions, feel free to post them up here and I'm sure IB will gladly answer them.

We're hoping to roll back to phase one, so the template of required information to post a thread will still be in place, but the search panel, and unified Marketplace forum, will not.

FWIW;

As a suggestion on the template re; model that part applies to.

Change "select all that apply" to something more specific.
such as "select ONLYthose that apply"
...or something similar.


Too many users just click them all, which makes it a useless field.

Great news! The new marketplace format was worth a shot, but some things are worth leaving well enough alone. Much appreciation!

 

Hey Jeff92se, as a result of discussions with the moderator and Admin team and community feedback, we will be rolling back the Marketplace to the previous format on Monday, December 6.
The Marketplace will remain inaccessible while this process is underway.

There is a small chance that all existing posts could be lost. Please see this thread for more details.
