Custom Made Enclosures for G35 Coupe

I have some custom boxes for sale specially made for a g35 coupe. It may fit in a G35 sedan but it was only test fitted and made out of a G35 coupe. Installation is very easy and all you need to do is put the 10" sub in there, hook it up and you are ready to jam. These boxes were custom made. They are made out of a plaster mold, carpeted, and you can have the Infiniti Logo where the sub would go. I however do now have pictures of the one with the infiniti logo but however you can get it that way. The Sub Enclosures are $375 each. or with the infiniti logo is $430. it sounds expensive but these enclosures saves lots of room and look factory. you put in the brand of 10" sub you want and you are ready to rock. also these are very light weight. look at pics and pm me if you have questions or are interested.

I am located in TX and i have plenty of these so let me know and if you want to buy more than one i can work with you on the shipping.

Looks like a rip off of the 4080 enclosure.

well not to sound like an ***, but these are sealed enclosures. you cant throw in any brand of 10inch subs you want, because they all have different recommend sealed box dimensions. For example., you cant throw an Eclipse Ti Pro in there but you might be able to throw a Kicker CVR in there.

But it is still possible to put any 10" sub in there (minus the kicker L7 & L5). It may not be the recomended size box for a certain sub, but it will still work none the less.

I'm a 4080 fan no doubt, but guys anyone that can buy fiberglass materials can make one. It is not like it is patented or anything. I've done my fair share of fiberglass work for audio and it is not rocket science by far...just takes practice.

I don't think anyone here is talking about patent infringement. It's about integrity. The enclosure looks like a straight rip-off of the 4080 enclosure, including the grill. Did you notice that the seller has not responded to the allegations? Could I glass an enclosure similar to 4080? Sure, but it's not worth my time. I'm working on other things and would rather pay 4080 for a quality product. I definitely wouldn't support someone else trying to make a buck off of someone else's hard work. I'm sure 4080 spent plenty of hours perfecting the fit of the enclosure.

Yep, you call it integrity and I call it business. Like I said, I'm not bias to either side just pointing out the facts. Anyone can make any product that does not have a patent against it. I didn't see the guy ripping 4080, saying his product is better than 4080, severly undercutting his price, etc. I mean if we were to stick with the mentality that the originator is the best this world would not even be close to where we are at today.

Kinetix makes an intake plenum, but so does Crawford. Both products are good and people buy from both...what stops this seller from making a product similar or identical to the 4080 box and selling them? Just because 4080 did it first means that he is the only one allowed to do it?

My heart is with k67p67, but my mind is with 1badv6.

I guess that's why I'm not a good businessman. A successful business is sometime heartless and unforgiving, but that's the nature of the beast.

On the plus side, competition is always good for the customer.

I agree. Business is business. There is nothing illegal about what this seller has done. I'd have no problem if the seller had designed something very similar to the 4080 enclosure. The problem I have is that this seller seemingly didn't do any design work and simply made exact copies of everything, down to the flush grille, Mt. Fuji grille option, and mounting tab. I would prefer to do business with someone who I feel has integrity. I feel more confident that such a person/company would treat me better if I were to have a problem with a product/service. I'm not saying that this seller lacks integrity but it would be nice if he posted some kind of response in this thread. Perhaps he buys these from 4080.
