^+1. Whenever I drive on weekends, I always see import cars now getting pulled over more often.

Being from a backward a$$ place has its pluses.
Gotta second the vote. Its a joy everyday getting out on the open road and not being trapped in. Even with a 1+ hour drive to work daily, its always fun and we can do basically whatever we want to do with our cars.

Small bump for one of the nicest G's ever to post pictures on G35Driver.

I'm sorry to see you de-construct your car. I've enjoyed all your do-it-yourself posts and pictures throughout the last few years. Really a beautiful car. Make sure you get lots of nice pictures of it so you can always remember it.

Maybe you could ship your car to Florida for a few test runs before you take the turbos off. At least you could rev 'er up a few times. Cops are bad here, but nothing like what you report in California.

Good luck in the future.

Ok guys Ive been doing a bit of thinking. I would REALLY like to sell the motor and kit togeather. I know its going to be hard and someone would have to be local but I thought I would throw it out there.
03 VQ with 22k miles. 500 boosted (maybe) NO PROBLEMS!
Front timing cover polished
Valve covers painted blue
Samco hoses
Pithon clamps
JWT clutch/flywheel
SP custom grind cams
Blue light weight pullies
Blue vacuum hose ect.
SSV manifold
APS TT
1 step colder plugs
I would like to trade for a stock motor with about the same miles and 9000.00 for all this. I can also work you a deal on the install and swap of the two motors. In the end all you would really need is a tune.
If I were to break all this down. I paid 13000.00 in just parts, no labor. So there you have it, 4000.00 off! Ill also charge half for install of what a shop would charge! Again this is just a idea. If this doesnt fly by the end of the month then Ill go with the other plans.

yeah I"m in sac too and have been worried about getting pulled over. i don't run a front plate so I know I'm really asking for it anyways. the area i work in (fair oaks) has a bunch of ferraris around town without front plates. I'll be pissed if I get pulled over before one of those guys do.
