If these units are based off the OEM mirrors, why don't you set up some kind of core exchange? That may bring down the price substantially, at least for the cost of parts.

Why in (Pic 2) shows the lens protruding out of the mirror. This should
be a flush look IMHO

Also, is it fair to assume that these will be plug and play, as well as color matched? I went through this thread and haven't found an answer to either question yet. Did I miss it somewhere in here?

yes they will have the factory wire harness =0) and you would just need to set up a relay which is providedd with the mirrors with full instructions aswell and you can either have your mirrors painted to match your car or in primier and ready to paint
