hey dan, pass this on to kevin if you could - if i could make a suggestion, he should use the 5mm bulbs for the shift light vice the 3mm. you could get the LED holder for the 5mm and finish off the look.

The 3mm LED can be flush mounted for a total stealth look with a 7/64" drill bit. That is the main reason we went with the smaller LED, because once it is flush mounted you can barely even see it is there.

also, would there be any problems with connecting multiple LED's to the circuit? i couldn't imagine that the voltage drop or current requirements would be too high (depending on the materials that you used). i would like to use maybe 3-5 in a circular shape.
You can't connect multiple LEDs directly to the output of the module without first modifying the circuitry of the module. The output is current limited to about 10mA at 5vdc.
You really have several options though, you can replace the current limiting resistor with something smaller, or you can use the (-) LED output to drive your own external LED drive circuit (a PNP transistor and a resistor would work great).
You could replace the current 3mm with a single 5mm, or you can find the bezel that I bought on Ebay.
Let me know if you have any other questions,

hey guys
i can get them, but we would need atleast 10 people to do it, as i do not have any instock.
if we can find more people that would be interested we can setup a group buy, and get everybody taken care of.
let me know if you guys would be interested in doing this.
thanks
