FS: 19" OEM Coupe wheels with new rear tires..curb rash included :)
Hi guys,
I'm looking to sell a set of four OEM 19" G35 coupe wheels with tires. I've used the wheels/tires for approximately a year now but the rear tires have been replaced with brand new Nitto Invos sized 245/40ZR19 which were driven on for only about 300 miles. The front tires are the OEM Bridgestone RE050As sized 225/40ZR19. The Nittos pretty much have 100% tread depth as you can see from the included pictures below (notice how the manufacturer painted lines are still fresh). The Bridgestones will need to be replaced soon but are still legal according to the good old penny check. The wheels also include all four TPMS units.
Now onto the wheels themselves. I'm not going to beat around the bush, they do have some COSMETIC damage. Thanks to my local wheel shop, all four of the wheels have slight nicks around the lug area from what I'm assuming was a careless breaker bar/torque wrench/air tool/whatever. The marks have been filled in with silver touchup paint and are not very noticeable. Again, you can check the pics to see for yourself. Also, the passenger side front and rear wheels have considerable curb rash from when I let my ex-girlfriend borrow the car for a week while I was out of town (I swear it was her!
). The front wheel has a rash that extends about a third of the way around the wheel while the rear wheel has two separate groups of nice rashes a few inches long. The damage is all cosmetic and the wheels are fine, it's just a bit of an eyesore.
Seeing as the coupe wheels have been going for anywhere from slightly under a grand to a little over depending on usage, the rear tires are pretty much brand new, and all four TPMS units are included, I think $850 would be a good starting price for a local pickup or delivery. The price is negotiable but please don't bother sending any ridiculous lowball offers as I'd rather keep the wheels as a backup set than let them go for pennies on the dollar.
I'm in the Glendale, CA area and would be willing to drive a bit (~30 miles) to deliver the wheels to an interested buyer. The best way to reach me is via e-mail at kangl@berkeley.edu or through AIM at my screenname "leoskang". You can also send a PM though I don't check my PMs that often.
That should be it for now, onto the pictures:
Small mark around the lugs
Another example of the small marks around the lugs
Brand new Nitto Invos in the rear
Front curb rash
First curb rash on the rear wheel
Second curb rash on the rear wheel
Why I'm selling my OEM wheels. No one's driving the car except me now
