05-07 G35 coupes w/ sport tuned suspension should not lower the rear because it is the same spring. The rear revised 350z spring is the same spring for those 05-07 g35coupes w/ sport tuned suspension. If your friend used unrevised 350z springs or had a 03-04 g35 coupe it will lower the rear 1/2"...
