Well...here's an update. I arranged to meet up this evening sometime. Told him I would be bring a friend (Dru from Street Image) who is an expert to verify the condition of the coilovers. I've called him 5 or 6 times today with no answer and no response to my voicemail. You know when you get that feeling that "If it sounds too good to be true, it must be too good to be true"? That's the kind of feeling I get. He may have a legitimate excuse but he was online at 6:25pm and has not made any contact. I would say BUYER BEWARE.

Uhm.. that's because it was sold the night before and I believe he was sleeping most of the day~evening.
It's ok to be careful but I think it's kinda messed up to assume things and say stuff like that to a legit seller bro...
He's a great guy to deal with and unless you consider parting out your own car stealing, the parts he's selling (or sold) are not "hot".
Maybe this can help you clear thing up a bit...

https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cars/103669-sale-2005-g35-coupe-6mt-dg-volks-mods.html

I personally saw the parts at the seller's house and my friend actually bought most of his parts for his future G. He doesn't even have the G yet but I told him not to pass up on a good deal so he got em before he bought the car.
ALL the parts were extremely well taken care of. He even had a custom made car cover for his ultra babied G.
I'm sure Glen will tell you the same. He bought the V1 from the same seller.
Also, before accusing anyone, it usually helps if you do a search on the person's previous posts. Dru probably wasn't working at Street Image at the time but he even took his car there and even recommended the shop to fellow member.
Besides, I do other things or sleep and leave my browser open all the time (which will indicate me being online with the green dot). I'm sure he had his reasons for not being able to answer or get back to you. He didn't pick up my calls during the day either and got back to me many hours later as well.
I hope that explains a little about his actions...
Maybe I'll sell you my HKS Hipermax RS if I do decide to sell my set. I did have my eyes on a set of Zeal coils even before I bought my HKS...

I never said the seller wasn't legit. I did say that buyers should beware. That means that potential buyers should exercise due diligence when purchasing from a seller with (a) only 30 posts, (b) and iTrader rating of 1, (c) an almost unbelievable price, and (d) that would not return multiple phone calls. I don't know the guy so I wouldn't claim he's a scam artist without proof. It's cool that your buddy purchased these coilovers from him and got a great deal.

Fact is that I have a better iTrader feedback rating than 99.9% of members on this board so I think I'm familiar with how business should be conducted between parties in this kind of environment and this transaction was not what I would expect as a buyer. He could have called or PMd me the night it was sold knowing that we had set a tentative appointment for last night. I'm not trippin' about it. I wish the seller the best of luck with the new car.

I've seen you in person and I know how you are with business. You've helped me out multiple times in the past and I really had no intention of offending you. Just letting you know in case you did feel my post was a little aggressive.
I read your post again on page 1 and maybe I misunderstood you. When you mentioned "hot", I thought you were saying "If they're not stolen and are as you claim, I'll take them."
After reading your post again carefully, I'm thinking you were trying to say something like "If you're really desperate to get rid of em, do what you gotta do."
Just by looking at the words, it still seems a little confusing but knowing you, I should have never thought the way I did. I dunno what I was thinking...
I do apologize for "guessing" what you meant. I'm in no position to be telling you not to assume others... I feel stupid now.. haha
Sorry Kurtis!

No worries Alex. Hope you didn't misunderstand my post. No hard feelings toward the seller either.

Haha yeah I haven't forgotten.

I actually am really considering selling mine.
Although I'll probably end up going with the Zeal, I'm gonna do a little more researching first. If I decide to sell it, I won't forget to let you know, don't worry.

I misunderstood your post about the "hot" part, which sort of lead me misunderstand your following one or two posts.
I know you're just trying to give some heads up for fellow members. No hard feelings at all.
