03-04 Double Din kits available!

Well for all you guys that were waiting for an 03-04 Double Din kit I found this over on My350Z.com.

I don't know if this is the Metra kit but if you dont want to export one from J's Garage then this is it.

the metra kit looks sooooooooo ugly compared to the OEM one...

^+1 ageed but then you have some people who just dont want to spend the money on the JDM stuff. For the price and availability you cant beat it though.

I wonder if you can swap out the button covers on it with the ones on your original climate control...if so, this is one h*ll of a deal.

^It would be nice but it sounds like a very tedious project especially since the AC unit is a circuit board.

so that kit.....Is the Dual Climate already functional on the kit or do still have to solder?

Yes, if its the one I am thinking of it has dual climate control, and its cheap! Hi-Tech isnt this the one you were going to get at the begining of this month?

Unless they are goign to release a black one... not interested. Will still try to get an AC controller.

Nope. When I started that thread it was because I found an amp intergration harness so that you would not have to splice into the wires of the Bose amp for RCA outputs. I found the dd kit while surfing and decided to inform other people.

If your are trying to get a JDM climate control you can order one through J's Garage. they import/export lots of JDM parts including the AC control unit. They are asking for 350.00 shipped.

I've tried both J's garage (yosi) and japanparts.com (where I got my black finisher) and both are on back order into late july. I was told by the guys at grubbs that they should... should have their shipment sometime in the middle of July. It is horse show season right now so I am broke anyways, but I plan to get one as soon as they come in.

Just order one today, It will be ship on Monday. Not bad its only 215.00 ship. Can't wait to get it , I still have to paint it.Will post picture once all done .
