No, no rubbing on mine....You need to take your time installing these...they are adjustable in everyway...just have to be patient and test fit before putting everything back together...I installed mine with the help of a friend....

It is possible to damage the fender by pulling too hard, but it would have to be a damn hard pull. These hinges are sick, they are adjustable in every way and have a stopper to not let the door open any more. The stopper is adjustable, but even if when you have it where you want if it is yanked very hard a couple times it may damage the fender....I have had no issues with this, as most people learn how to open the doors after the first time....even my girl started lifting them as soon as she learned how...

I am sure that there are knock-off kits....Mine are authentic Vertical Doors, Inc. They say it on the actual hinges, and I have the original installation instructions, and a reciept somewhere stored that I have been trying to find....It will turn up but long story short these are authentic Vertical Doors, Inc. Also, I'm willing to do a stock headers trade + cash for my also authentic Nismo headers, but only if you are local and willing to do the labor...

Don't the shocks eventually lose pressure to hold the doors up?
