Pretty easy to install, just plug and play. I had my iPod cable run to the armrest (removed the cup holder)

I think for some cars it uses the SAT. For me, I just pressed the CD button twice to get to it (once for normal CD).

Did not scroll anything on the screen for me, just track numbers. iPod can be controlled with the steering wheel/radio face controls.

There are two modes of operation. In one mode the iPod is normal and you pick what song/playlist you want via the iPod or steering wheel controls.

In the second mode (the one I used) you lock the iPod and control it all via the steering wheel/radio controls. You create 5 playlists on the iPod called NISSAN1_somthing NISSAN2_something, etc. Then each playlist is mapped to a "CD" (press 1 for NISSAN1, 2 for NISSAN2, etc). And the 6th CD defaults to "all songs".

I know, I don't think I listened to a single CD after I got this. Thankfully my new car has an iPod hookup already
