Another member found the thread - it was just enough to raise my own curiosity, as well as that of other members. Trying to make sure no one gets scammed.

Instead of getting all bent out of shape about this, put everyone at ease by providing some proof. Do you have to? Of course not. Will it help your case and your sale? Absolutely.
your right i dont have to but i will just for you...

I tried to buy these from the original seller, and was told Id have to offer more that $2000 since that was the highest offer. So, nobody got those wheels for that cheap.
Bump for sweet wheels

OP, I suspect you'll now have much better luck with this sale.

Heres a bump for you. I don't think anyone was trying to start anything intentionally with you in this thread. My advice is start a new thread. Good luck moving them.

lol I swear, forums are so funny sometimes. Accusations RULE on the forums.

Here's your proof, it's me the original seller telling you that he is TELLING THE TRUTH about what he paid. I originally put those wheels up at what turned out to be a stupid low price and there was a bidding war. After 30+ PMs and numerous phone calls I decided to sell them to the OP for the price he is claiming in his post.

People on the forums need to start doing some research before putting people on trial.

More like we place the burden of disproving something suspicious upon the seller... If you expect to sell anything for four figures, this is nothing if not a reasonable expectation.

i believe the OP, since the price was $1100 for iforged, a gang load of people would jump on it in the first place, so the price of course went up...supply and demand...good luck with the sale!
