would the phone button still work as the power button? or do you know if the circuit is different

I didn't get that far. As soon as I opened the box and noticed the difference I decided not to attempt the install.

^I believe the correct one is Nissan part # 25550-AC700 which is non-premium. Call your local dealer and try that part number for the price.

Unfortunately, the shipping costs are almost double the cost of the switches.

if your car doesn't have bluetooth from factory then that button is used as a "mode" button. There no longer is a power button.
