yeh i know it's $30 more on my bill per month, but it's not like you're paying $30 and getting nothing.

i don't need to unlock it since i have ATT already. plus i don't mod my phones like all u crazy kids, hahaha.

btw, i'm coming to daygo sometime this afternoon...

right now the only way to get this phone through at&t is by ordering it. You could try getting it the apple store, but for you I wouldn't recommend it.

att said they receive shipments everyday, but they can't say which day they are receiving the iphones. so you can get lucky and go in when they get it or order it.

either way, i'm not eligible for the 199 pricing.

they may say that, but they are not receiving shipments everyday. So far, 3 local corporate stores have been out of stock since July 11th. People have however, been getting their phones through direct fulfillment. There is a consenus on the At&t forums that ordered phones are being shipped before normal stock shipments, but I have not seen anything concrete to support that claim.

I had the iPhone 3G for a day. I was not getting any reception with the 3G network, probably 1 bar compared to 5 bars on the EDGE network. I also didn't like the idea of paying an extra $15 more just for the 3G network, which isn't even all that much faster/better for me. Certain areas don't have it.. and it's not like I surf the web all day using my iPhone.

In any case, I put up the iPhone on Ebay. It should sell by tomorrow night, Saturday, for around $900. I'm thinking of upgrading my mom's line to get the iPhone and sell that **** as well. It's not like we're gonna switch services soon. If we do, it's only $175 for the early termination fee. $200 iPhone + $175 termination fee = $375. You'll net around $450 if you can sell the iPhone for $900... even AFTER the Ebay, Paypal, and $175 termination fee.

Unfortunately, no. I was too late since most of the big-ballers with money already found an iPhone before I listed mine. They were still selling for $700 though, but I didn't wanna lower my price. I'm going to wait until they release a software to unlock the iPhone 3G and relist it. Hopefully, it'll be more than $1000 this time.
