FS 2003 Non-Rev Up Motor
Just got a call from the shop and my engine is no good.
It failed the leak down test on 3 cylinders, but the valves and everything else is good. It is burning oil and I was told that the rings are shot on those cylinders and would need to be replaced.
The engine has 112k on it and I have been using synthetic 5W30 oil in it since I got the car with 48K. Entire engine assembly.
If anyone is interested it is coming out of the car on Tuesday. If you want is shipped you would need to make that arrangement.
It would be a great project or rebuild for someone I'm sure.
It is coming out of a 2003 Sedan 5 AT.

It's the whole motor but I need to replace the throttle body and the valve covers on the engine I purchased so my old motor will come without a TB and the valve covers will be used on my replacement engine. And yes I was told that the only bad thing with the engine are the rings.
