Feeler- Shock Sensor For Oem Alarms

Well after reading up on SFLG35's link on adding a shock sensor to the G35 factory alarm I figured I'd pitch out to the G/Z Community the thought of having a shock sensor made and sent out to those of you that are interested.

The cost would be 80.00 shipped for a Stinger DEI-504OEM Double Shock Sensor. The Diodes will be soldered at the connecting points as well as a fuse holder. The unit will be neatly put together and sleeved with some black tubing to make the install look proffesional.

There will be 4 wires to be connected (2 for the ignition harness and 2 for the trunk/door pin switch)which I will supply connectors for.

I thought this would be a great idea and would also save members sometime of running out and grabbing all of the parts and doing the labor. If interested shot me a PM or signup below.

DEI Shock Sensors (the black one is a sound sensor tied into the shock sensor. It picks up the slightest noise through a small microphone that can be mounted anywhere).

i guess its not a bad idea for those who don't know what they are doing, but I did this mod back in the day for less than $25.

^Yeah I mean I think it's worth a shot. I mean the cost of materials and overhead as well as time and crafting should be well worth it.

How hard is it to install this? Will this work with all G35's?

^The installation is simple. It will work with all G35's. What year is your G35? You will basically need to locate your door/trunk pin to tap into and the ignition harness.

You gotta be careful with some of the earlier cars with "high" current door pins. I've seen '03s that will pull over 1A of current to turn the dome light on. In the process it fries the shock sensor!
