MINT potenza 225/45/19, 245/40/19

Fact of the matter is that they are used... People know that these tires don't last long. Most have switch away from the Bridgestones because of this. You can buy a full set of Toyo Proxes T1R's 245/40/19 for $950

wow ok lets do this real simple for you slow people...
1. these potenzas are almost $1200 new. you are saving almost $100 PER tire. it doesnt matter how much you can get other brands for, the quality of these speak for themselves.
2. yes they are used but LESS THAN 500 miles of break-in driving. even if they last 5000 miles, thats still OVER 90% thread left. and since most people dont drive that hard, they can easily last 2x that.
3. ive been on here almost 4 years now and never intentionally tried to screw anyone over. most of the people in the fl/ga and even southeast would vouch for me.
4. i dont care what deals you can find online. like other people said, most of them are really used tires and you have no idea how people drove on them. you can see almost the entire thread and nubs in my pictures.
so if you have nothing constructive to say, please stay out of this thread.

Don't know where you are shopping, but I've not found a full set of T1's for anywhere NEAR $950. I'm getting quotes as high or higher than the Bridgestones. (Both locally and on-line.) Reading reviews on the T1's most get about the same mileage as the RE050's. Some swear that they wouldn't buy the Toyo's again, expecting double the mileage. (one would think a lot more mileage would be in order with the hardness ratings on the Toyos) However those ratings are more subjective than anything and are not carried out with uniformity from one manufacturer to another.
Did you look at the photos from the OP? With the quarter in the tread, depending how it's tilted I've compared the tread depth with a REAL tire gauge. Depending on which model of the RE050A it comes with 10 to 11 32nd's of an inch tread. Based on the photos there may be 1 1/2 to 2 32nd worn
if that much. If these came with 10 then they've not even worn down a full 32/nd.
Like w0ady said, these tires are basically new, period. And for those of us that never drive in the rain, they are grippy as He!!.

Fact is that you are asking almost retail for these tires. I agree, they are practically brand new. I know people do in fact pay rediculous prices for NEW tires but when people buy used they want a substantial discount, one that is going to entice them to buy a product with no warranty or piece of mind. With that said, I think you are going to need to drop your price somewhat.
BTW, I have a set of these sitting in my garage right now. They are going back on when my Falkens wear out.

Uhhhh... what? I agree... pay more money, get rims with those tires. But this thread is about tires. Did you miss my post where I said I Paypal'd the money. In other words, the tires are sold.
If anything... we can keep the posting meter going.
