FS: Black NRG Front Strut Bar

NO LONGER FOR SALE! i made it fit in my car this thread can be closed thanks

i have for sale black NRG (richie's V1 FSB) which were painted black. these were originally on K67p67 's car. They looked very nice when they were on his car.

Reason for selling: I recently installed BC coil overs and the adjustment ***** will not fit with these FSB. I really do not want to sell because i think it looks sick having a black strut bar and i did feel a noticeable difference installed (defintely decreased body flex)

Price: $100 picked up or $115 Shipped

The Catch:
After receiving this bar, i had a very difficult time installing them on my car. After bolting down the two brackets, the bar did not seem long enough to reach both ends. What I had to do was to loosen one bracket, attach the bar to both brackets, than bolt down the loose bracket. I spent many hours struggling to get this to fit, and it did finally work.

If you read the review on Richie's V1 FSB, it seemed that the OP had the same problem and to make it work he had to do the same thing.

https://g35driver.com/forums/reviews...strut-bar.html

IN the Process of struggling to get this to work, i've F*ed up the paint. On one tower i have chipped away a lot of the black paint, and on the bar there are also many chips and where the bolts rub against the bar. The condition of the bar is terrible compared to when it was originally on K67p67's car. If you look at the picture, i may have also bent one of the arms on the the right bracket slightly. I'm not sure if it was originally like that or i did it, i'm not sure if i have the strength to bend metal though...

However, it did finally fit and works fine. Anyone want this to repaint or work with, its up for grabs.

What you see in the picture is what you get. I do not want to be responsible for any fitment issue. It fit perfectly fine in the the cars of the previous 2 owners. It also fit on my car, but I had to struggle a bit.

With my strut bar I ended up reshaping the part of the bracket that hits the adjustment **** by hammering it lightly. Works fine for me now but it is still not easy to adjust the coilovers on the drivers side. WORKS THOUGH!
