How did this exhaust compare to the HKS? Power and sound wise.

hks

sounds less resonated. it's louder and when 5k+ that when the exhaust starts to scream.. the hks sound is very unique some say it sounds kinda exotic some say it growls.. rated out of 10, with 10 being the highest hks is around a "9" during WOT. power wise the hks is more tuned for high end power.

nismo

sounds very similar to oem. if oem is a 5 i would give nismo about a 7.5 during WOT (10 being loudest). nismo keeps the VQ sound "purr" while giving it a deeper meaner note. the nismo exhaust sounds more resonated so it's good for people who dont want to attract too much attention or drive a lot daily with their car. the power on the nismo is tuned for more low end power.

both are great exhausts.. just depends on which you personally prefer
