(2) 225/45/19, (2) 245/40/19 stock re050a potenza *NEW*

these are brand new, straight off G37 sport 19" rims. they're pretty much BRAND NEW, only about 40 miles on them driving home from the dealer. i'm keeping the rims and selling the tires. i was originally only gona sell the front tires, and move the rears to the front and buy new rears, but now i'm deciding to sell the whole set because now i have my heart set on vredestein ultrac sessantas 245/40 275/35. plus i think its easier to find interest in a set of 4 tires rather than just 2 tires.

from tire rack, the 225s are $263 each and the 245s are $305 each. thats $1,136. add tax and shipping and your looking at almost $1,300 for these tires.

i'll be honest, i just want to make enough to cover the cost of the vredesteins, which i should be able to get my hands on for about $950. so i'll let these go for $950 picked up or $1,000 shipped. i'm located in northern nj, 20 minutes from nyc. so $1,300 tires for $950. can't imagine someone beating that.

+1, woady is trying to sell the same tires for about the same price with no luck as far as I know.

People buy them new because they can get a warranty through the dealer. They will pay extra for that piece of mind. Honestly, you're going to be hard pressed to get over $700 from anyone on this forum. And yes, there is a set on eBay right now for around $1100, rims AND tires.

i don't see any ebay auction for rims and tires for anywhere near $1,100. i do see rims and tires for about $1,850, and those tires only have 80% tread. so if you can find this miraculously priced auction of g37 rims and tires for $1,100, then you can post the link for me or PM it to me. if you can't, then please don't get into a pricing argument with me in my auction where im trying to sell brand new tires, unless of course ur interested in them, because thats only gonna completely butcher any chance of me selling these tires to anyone. the price is $950 for brand new tires that go for $1300. if your interested, great. if you think the price is too high, then PM me with a realistic offer.

see this thread,
https://g35driver.com/forums/19-inch...5-40-19-a.html

I'm not interested in your tires. I have a set in my garage that I'm keeping because I know I can't sell them for what they are "worth" IMO because they are used. I'm keeping them and when my Falkens need replaced I'll put the OEM's back on.

GLWS though,

GLWS though,
thanks for the good luck wishes. pricing is $950 OBO. PM me with offers. again, these tires are as close to brand new as you are going to get. 40 TOTAL MILES ON THEM! literally driven home from the dealer and thats it. brand new these tires are $1300 after tax and shipping from tire rack.

GLWS though,
Question if you don't mind...

How would you compare the Falkens to the RE950's? Folks I've spoken with like the wear, but complain about them breaking loose way too easy. That, and just not having near the grip on mountain roads and high G twisties.

Why did you pull the Bridgestones off to begin with? I mean, if you need a winter set I can see it for sure. That being said, you can buy your rims on the forums for $650~$750 or so and stick winter tires on.

The Bridgestones handle fine and treadwear is on par with all high performance summer tires for sure. You would do good to wear them till their slick and enjoy the ride.

I'm afraid what you'll end up with is wasting money pulling them off, only to end up selling them for $700 tops. That's just the way it is. I'd given you $800 shipped but $950 plus shipping and you'll end up with them till they dryrot, sorry.

Oh, and the other thread that folks directed you to with 'mint' Bridgestones. Those are coming to me, hand delivered none the less for $800. (From Jacksonville to Atlanta by w0ady.)

FWIW, mine are OEM runflats on my 06 6mt. I drive fairly spirited (when I drive). It's taken 38 months to get 16432 on them with tread still showing on the rears (not enough for rain however... but I've only been in the rain once and that was by accident). The fronts will last at least till 20K before I change them. At this rate, by the time I wear out another set the car will be well over 6 years old. At least I didn't have to worry about payments on the darned thing. Paid cash.

GLWS...though

wow, can't you people just let it be. if you don't like my price then just click back on your browser and go on with your life. between you and twin001, you guys have managed to completely shatter any chance i had at breaking even with selling these and getting the tires i want. so i'll extend a thank you out to you guys. and please don't respond back to this by saying "oh were just trying to help you save time because the reality is nobody will pay that much for your tires" because i don't wanna hear it. you guys have done the exact OPPOSITE of helping my sale. buying and selling is a negotiating process. if you're interested in my product, but think my price is too high, you can send me a PM and make an offer. products are rarely sold at the initial asking price of the seller anyway. posting long responses saying that my price is too high and then posting what YOU think the price should be is called butchering a sale. i read w0ady's thread and people we're doing the same thing to him, insisting his price was too high when they weren't even interested. and im sure he felt exactly how i feel now. i remember in one post he said GO AWAY! im so turned off by trying to sell anything on this forum anymore.

anyway, new price. $800 picked up, $850 shipped......as if i even have control over my own pricing anymore.
