what specific type of headlight does this fit into?

any that have stock hids. Projectors or sedan with hid bulbs these are also used for retrosif youare adding bids to an older car. Work with stock d2r or d2s bulbs

If you have an infiniti/nissan with HID these are your stock OEM ballast.
