If you check the tech area, under engine there is a 31 page thread started by daveB that debates this topic. Read through it it's very interesting. Best I can figure they change the sound of your exhaust giving it a slightly deeper tone, and improve throttle response. If they can add a little power then that's just a bonus. Fairly cheap mod to start with. I don't know if I'd expect a whole lot.

I just installed the MD 5/16th Md spacer today. How do you like yours? Did you see a dramatic difference in power?

 

Thanks for the info. As for the spacer, it's probably the best mod I have....gives a nice little bump in power, with a nicer growl to boot. You will feel the difference at the higher rpms's!

Bought 3, kept one, and sold the other 2 to members here. Check your local Nissan and Infinit dealerships. That's where I found mine.
