Since the one rim was refinished, did they re-clear the lip?

 

I do not know for sure but if I was to guess then I would say yes since there is no difference in surfaces. I will find out for sure on Monday.

 

you can test it by lightly attempting to polish the fixed rim. if you see black, then the surface is bare and there is no clearcoat. if it does not immediately develop black, STOP! and clean it off lol, it is probably clearcoated hehe

does anyone have any other less-primitive form of testing?
