feeler f/s turbonetics kit 03-05 non revup (brand new)
I bought the kit to fit my '06 a/t . the kit comes with the cat . they changed the rack & pinion in '06 and thats why the kit doesn't fit . according to turbonetics , there are only a couple of pipes that you have to change to fit the a/t kit to the m/t kit or vice versa . i am selling the car on this forum also , which is why i am selling the turbo kit for cheap . i just want to get rid of all the extra stuff that i don't need .
when you say the "crossover" pipe are you referring to the y-pipe that connects the downpipe to the dual exhausts? Is this w/ cats or without? Also why would this kit require intake modifications? I just want to see how much of a headache this will be. Also, is this carb approved? (I'm from Louisiana)
this kit is w/ cats . there is no headache if your car is '03 - '05 . mine is '06 and the piping doesn't fit cuz of the rack & pinion . i think the fact of having to replace a pipe and the fuel pump is pocket change when this kit is brand new and you are saving thousands of dollars . the brand new kit is around $5000 without utec . you get the whole package here for over $2000 less than brand new with utec . almost every upgrade you do states that it is for offroad use only . i don't know anything about the emissions in louisiana .
i think the crossover pipe is like 150 bucks or somethin like that and u would have to call turbonetics i dont remember the part numbers now...get a price from them then pm vendors with the part number and see if they can get it and get it for a better price
FYI. Just contacted turbo-kits.com. The crossover pipe for this to work with a 6MT is around $290. So if you have a manual tranny, expect to spend about $400 more for this kit to work (crossover pipe and fuel pump). Something to keep in mind for myself also.
take it to your local muffler shop and they can fab a crossover pipe in less than an hour and labor and materials will put you at/around 100$
