"what would make me think that was a descent offer" ....umm how bout we are in a recessionary economy with Unemployment approaching 11% In economics there is a concept called "deflation" which by definition means: a decrease in the general price level of goods and services. And when Demand for something is LOW (like it is for these wheels) then price WILL come down. did I answer your question???

Its just an offer, again sorry if I offended some people.

Aftermarket wheels are considered a "Luxury item" if you can't afford it you don't buy it, simple as that. You have $2200...so go find some $2200 wheels. Again, ridiculous!!!

YEs "ShanesG" I understand they are considered a "luxury item" but if you knew anything about economics you would know that "luxury items" decrease in value the most in a deflationary marketplace.

How did I know you were going to say"if you cant afford it dont buy it" that is the most predictable come back. haha

There are even Bentley GT coupes going for $70k on craigslist. The price of everything EVEN "luxory items" are decreasing.
Because I dont know too many people with G35 that will pay roughly 25% of their cars value on wheels, If you ask me that my friend is "ridiculous"

Sorry to thread JAck

Did you ever find out how much to get wheels fixed?

The only thing wrong w/ the wheels is the right rear has the gold coating scraped slightly off from curb rash. Not very noticeable, and I'm not going to get it fixed. If these don't sell at my price, I'm just going to keep them. I have an extra set of Dunlop tires for them, so I'm set for a while.

to "shanesG" I am not going to check out some "rotas" Trust me its not that I can not afford these wheels because I can, its just that when I see a similar wheel go for $3K on the BMW forum in excellent condition with no rash and good thread on the tires. I think my offer of $2,200 w/o tires is a pretty good offer and not "ridiculous"
so I would appreciate it if you would stop bashing other peoples offers.

here is the link. you might want to think about lowering your price just a tad. thanks

^Maybe he'll take $3199, just for you though....

Just because those sold for $3k doesn't mean these will as well. Just because one seller is willing to take a smaller amount doesn't mean the OP needs to.

The specs on these i'm sure are different than those that were sold for the bimmer.
The ones that sold on the bimmer forum were 19's these are 20's, an inch increase in 3pc forged wheels range for ~$100 more per rim. So already right there your comparison is flawed.

You're not gonna buy these wheels, we've established that already so your posts are now worthless.
Go find someone who's willing to take 2200 for 3500 wheels! GL!

"I'll go even higher and offer you $5,001 for your car. Let me know. Sorry if it's a lowball offer, gotta show my interest. Let me know. I saw one go for $10,000 before so I think my offer is pretty good and not ridiculous."
