Volk/Rays Gewalt Type II JDM 17's 5x114.3 & 4x114.3
I have for sale a set of wheels and tires off a 1990 300zx Twin Turbo and were put on my G35 (came with 17's). THESE ARE PERFECT WIDTH AND OFFSET FOR THE 240SX. These wheels are exactly 20 years old. They were built in 1989 and made in Japan.
Here's the details:
Manufacturer: Mackin (now owned by Volk/Rays Engineering)
Model: Gewalt Type II 2 pc
Size: 17x10 (+38) rear, 17x8.5 (+43) front.
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3mm AND 4x114.3mm (5x4.5" and 4.4.5")..it has BOTH lug holes.... quite rare for a REAL JDM wheel, especially a 20 year old one.
FITS:
1989-1994 240sx (won't fit the 92-94 240sx with HICAS)
1995-1998 240sx 4 AND 5 lug
1984-1989 300zx (do your research to make sure the offsets will clear)
1990-1996 300zx Turbo and Non Turbo, 'vert, 2+2, etc. (this is what car they were on)
2003-2008 350z
2009-2010 370z
2003-2007 G35 Coupe (this is another car they were on)
2008-2010 G37 Coupe
2010-2010 GT-R (won't clear BREMBO's)
These will also fit 4 lug 4x114.3mm Hondas (but you'll have to check your offsets, and probably change TIRE size)... They fit on previous owners 98 accord, but the tires are too wide.
These wheels have a center nut to keep the cover over the lugs...a BMW BBS wheel lug wrench is included to tighten them down (the original one broke when previous owner was tightening it down when it was about 20 degrees out here in Texas!)
These wheels were originally silver, and 2 have been painted gloss black, and other 2 have been painted gunmetal gray with wheel paint. I have painted them several differnt ways to see what id like but are too small for my G35. all 4 have some minor curb rash and could use refinishing. They are not that heavy. Fronts are about 19lb, rears about 21 lb.
The tires:
Fronts: Falken FK451 (now discontinued for FK452's) 245/45/ZR17, 3000 miles on them, but have been used on a road course twice..about 200 miles...still have 60% or more tread left. Manufacture date of 2006.
Rears: Falken FK451 (now discontinued for FK452's) 275/40/ZR17, 2000 miles on them, but have been used on a road course twice..about 200 miles...still have 50% or more tread left. Manufacture date of 2006.
The wheels were about $600 EACH in 1989 (so $2400 new in 1989), only made and marketed in Japan and were never available in the US. There are a few sets that have been imported here, but you won't see many cars with these wheels on them!
Asking $500 OBO Located in East Texas.

Alright guys, got the wheels off, tread is low all around, but VERY drivable. Front tires have inner wear from camber. Will take $400 as is, or $500 with the paint stripped off, and painted original silver
