i think you do have to remove the engine cover for all strut braces for the g35.. i never tried it with.. i just took it off when i when i installed it... i figured i would rather the car handle better than have the cover on...

Do u need to cut the engine cover to fit the strut brace over the engine cover?Stillen said that you need to remove the cover.
If you add a motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer or 1/2 does it raise the plenum?

On their site it states that the 5/16 spacer with fit the strut bar but I don't think it will fit the 1/2 inch. As for the engine cover? I don't know how Topnotchsedan did it..
