MB quarts are the $hit, I'd keep them if I were you and yes this amp is perfect for running 2 pairs of component speakers.

I have been having problems with my MB Quart compnents in my car....the tweeters have gone out in them for some reason.....Of course I didnt buy the top of the line MB Quarts....I just wanted some better high/mids/lows all around then the stock BOSE....So I should just stick with mine and get the tweeters fixed? I also hate that the MB Quart Compnent Brick is just massive and very hard to put anywhere in the door panel...

I wans't aware that the tweeters were broken. I just think that even the entry level MB discus line is far superior to any pioneer speaker. I dunno, maybe pioneer has something really worth buying now a days in terms of their high end line but to me Pioneer is just bang for buck. (not a bad product) but you typically get what you pay for. I had discus back in the day and were increduble, I've also had reference series and the top of the line Q series that sounded better than anything I'd ever heard.

hey, not to hijack

not to hijack but two things, first this is a GREAT amp, which I may actually purchase in a couple of weeks as it is perfect for my plans.

Second, for a hands down best value set of components on a budget, get Image Dynamics CTX65CS sicksicksick for the money. Play as well as 300-400 dollar components.

Nice but how are the cones? I like how the MB's have really tight cones vs most of the stuff you see out there. I even had a set of Momo Polk audio and those sucked ***
